I have been looking after the Area 4 website for a few years, ever since Huw Jones asked me to "give it a try", but now I think it might be time to hand over the baton to a new generation. I am coming up for the end of my second year out of Table and am slightly embaressed that work commitments recently mean I have all but lost touch with my old Table and Area 4, such that it is increasingly difficult to keep this site looking up to date and relevant.
There must be someone out there in Area 4 who thinks they would like to have a go!!
It's not as difficult as you might think to maintain, or even build a new site. We now have seven Table sites referenced from these pages and I suspect there are other budding webmasters out there. I have tended to treat the site as a technical challenge and an excuse to play around with Dreamweaver, but it could just as easily be run with other packages or even as (say) an MSN Group. If anyone wants to talk through it I would be happy to do so and my contact details can be found on the Barry 516 part of the directory page.
All the best
